The Princess Pad...

When I got my new-to-me/previously loved dSLR from eBay, i had WAY too much fun taking pics of my cats. New dSLR + Cats = FUN!

I do miss them...
(I moved to an apartment with "no pets" policy, so they lived out their lives romping on my mother's farm, where they were born originally to her barn cats.)


The concept in my family of "The Princess Pad" for our animals started with The Weeble. She had her own, private, pillow she rested on as the runt of her litter, when she was fed. That pillow became hers, and hers alone.

When Peanut came home with me, I asked my sister to make her a big, soft pillow. I smeared fresh catnip from my garden all over it, as well as tucking it inside between the cover and the pillowform. I used so much 'nip, I killed all my catnip plants. Totally worth it.

I was convinced my Princess needed a Pad, and thought she'd appreciate my effort.
I was right...
